Blastech Mobile specializes in automated blasting and the application of fast drying pre-construction primers.  This process is designed to reduce construction cycle times, eliminate painting bottlenecks, increase overall painting quality and minimize the total project cost when a steel structure requires final painting. The process enables end users to obtain up to 300 percent savings in surface preparation costs, as well as avoiding on site environmental issues arising from blasting.

Our Mobile facility is located on site at SSAB’s Axis plate mill.  We can conveniently be accessed by highway, rail and water. This gives us the ability to maximize cost savings by eliminating transportation costs, which can reduce your overall costs when plates are purchased through SSAB.
