Occupational Health and Safety Policy
- It is Blastech's goal to have a safe working environment for every employee. Protection of employee health and safety is the primary concern for both management and employees at all levels.
- Blastech believes superior safety, housekeeping, and environmental programs allow Blastech to be efficient and to produce quality products. Therefore, it is necessary that equal attention be given to safety, housekeeping, and environment, production, and product quality.
- It is the responsibility of management, including supervisors, to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. Management will monitor the effect of working conditions on health and safety and carry out remedial actions on a priority basis as the need arises.
- Management will also commit itself to train employees so that safety becomes a part of the decision making process behind every task performed.
- This does not negate the fact that all employees have a personal responsibility for their own health and safety. In order to protect all employees, strict adherence to Blastech's safety and health practices must be maintained and is a condition of employment.
- Blastech's goal is to see that the objectives and priorities set out within this Occupational Health and Safety Policy are met by all employees. Adherence to this policy will be part or performance evaluations.
